Did Vincent have trouble making friends? Like all of us, Vincent needed friends to feel supported. He had many artist friends to share ideas with. Like Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Émile Bernard, Paul Gauguin and Paul Signac. If his friends weren't around, Vincent wrote leters to keep in touch. "The best consolation, if not the only remedy, is profound friendships."
