    Hi, Bahador! Maybe you could do a Portuguese-Japanese comparison ! For the very same reason, Japan adopted about 70 words of Portuguese, manly for things they didn’t have a word for, like Kristu ( Cristo ) Christ or Botan ( Botão ) Botton... THEN, you could go round circle and compare the same words against Indonesian! Try to use a Portuguese native speaker - real easy to find in Toronto... we’re natural travellers, traders and migrants!

    In Ternate language capato same like sapato in portuguese. Ternate is one the most city in Indonesian. The most language Ternate and portuguese is the same meaning. One example again is kadera in Ternate language its kadera too

    Indonesian here, and Portugese "Cadeira" (Indonesian Kursi) is "kadera" in my ehtnic language (Mongondow language from Bolaang Mongondow ehtnic) with the exact same meaning! That just made my day! Thank you for making this video man!

    As a Filipino from the Philippines with many regional languages influenced by Spanish, Portuguese being the nearest similar language to Spanish, I've understood 80% of the mentioned words for most of it are also present in Philippine languages' loaned words.

    Really???? The guy is a Portuguese native speaker. May be in Spanish. The o in sapato, dedo, muito, obrigado and the majority of Portuguese words are pronounced as u.

    Ini North Maluku we say Bangku for bench and Kadera for chair. But the kadera is not used in most other island in Indonesia, that's why this man from Indonesia do know the answer!

    The word for Seat (Cadeira in Portuguese) is similar to Kadera which means seat in one of the local word in North Sulawesi island in Indonesia.
