Im sorry for my bad English. I think, no matter which county you come from, if you want to learn more about Hongkong's situation, you shouldn't listen to Police, neither the protesters. You should listen to the rest of Hongkongs, the ordinary people and learn about what they think about the protest. Let them tell did the protest brought what they want or destruction. I want learn the event from them and I dont wnat to see the new through CCTV because I know it isn't so judicial so that is why i using VPN come to youtube. However, What I saw most here were the news with political tendency instead of the real interview of some ordinary hongkong.

They are rioters not pro-democracy or freedom fighters. That's the reason why regular citizens come out to protest against those rioters. Yet some of the regular citizen got beaten up and got injured as those rioter throw fire bomb and bricks to them... it is a movement that is not supported by the citizens idreporter.net/v/video-hmFdbXrPmtQ.html

Good luck to you students, WE ARE WATCHING across the world and here in the United States- your struggle against tyranny and the backwards thinking of tyrants- we are also up against!!! Xi has 2 million Uyghurs in 're-education camps' which are prisons by any other name. Hong Kong people don't want to end up in something similar. Is that strange? NOT wanting to be 'disappeared' is wrong? NOT wanting 'rendition' to mainland China is wrong? If the US has 'more people in prison' than any other nation, why aren't we counting those 2 million Uyghurs? That kinda boosts China's prison population to far above what's being claimed. Anyone think they volunteered to get interned? To get 'reeducated?"

Dashuai Li26 hari yang lalu
CBS News, stop spreading propagandas. The HK government actually did listen to "protesters," made some concessions, and rejected other demands that were not do-abe. My point is there is a fine line between not listening vs having listened and then rejected. As a reputable news agency, you were smart enough to tell the difference unless you were just "reporting" without doing enough research.
Ring Abell26 hari yang lalu
Of course the media can tell the difference. They just want to sling mud on China. The real reason is that the US is threatened by China's growth. Americans don't want to strengthen their own country. They want to trash their rival. What a shame!
Garth Stewart26 hari yang lalu
American police would have simply killed all the protesters, and given sanctioned lies about “fearing for their safety” so that the unwashed-masses would not object.

iFumoffu26 hari yang lalu
For your reference: a state in America pass or revoke a law or ruling then the federal government has the authority to decide whether it’s legal or not. Hong Kong is a special administrative region, but it is still part of China. So for the Chinese government to have the final say in the matter isn’t something out of the ordinary. Stop magnifying these nonsense and use your double standards to make a case for these rioters. There’s a difference between protesting and vandalizing, try throw Molotov cocktails and shooting arrows at the police in America, see how democratic they will get. It’s saddening to see most reports paint these young violent radicals as ‘right’ and the police force doing their job as ‘wrong’.

the police even being harmed are tasting their own medicine. The only thing the goverment has achieved in 5 months is the COMPLETE RADICALIZATION of a generation Hardened folks on a missions. For the unhappy mainlanders that are analizing the pros & cons of going back to china THE SOONER THEY GO THE BETTER IS since NOBODY invited them in the first place.A bunch of lost souls that intead of enriching the city life they just manage to spoil it. Chinese leadership in Beijing does not care anout anyone so you do not have choice other then not care about them too.
