You don't give recipe but only the method to make tart! How much flour, sugar, and egg yolks?

Btw...love your video and everything like usual. Happy Chinese New Year ( Feb 8 ) to you and family....Gong xi fa chai...

  43. Sally Teo

Flavours Of Asia Is this tart melt in mouth?

  44. Flavours Of Asia

Flavours Of Asia5 tahun yang lalu

@Cecilia Poon Thanks for the feedback. There are few reasons with regards to the crack pastry. 1. Dough too dry (maybe add extra egg yolk) 2. Over baking (reduce baking time) 3. Oven temp too high (bake on the middle rack/oven) 4. Butter (use high fat butter). I hope these help. Anyway, Happy Chinese New Year to you & family. xx

Thank you. I tried it today, it was delicious. My children love them. I used three sticks of butter, one cup of powered sugar, one cup of corn starch, two extra large egg yolks, and four cups of flour. I will try your other recipes.

@Bee Bee Ang : This recipe works best with the enclosed version, they're melt-in your mouth type. For the open faced, the "cold butter" pastry is better. Btw, thanks for the comment and compliments.
