Yo I dont know if you used this incorrect number, or if it would even matter much, but at about 4:00 you said there was 550 billion whatever tons of carbon, then you said half was 225 when it is 275. Thanks bro love your vids!

Dear Kyle About the question at 18:00 I understand that calculating and estimating such high numbers from the top of one's head makes one do some errors and such, BUT, with all due respect, you made quite a BIG mistake with saying that the "mass won't go away, 'cause of the gravitational pull". Why's that exactly? The mass you took into consideration is the mass of half of Earth's population turned into ash/dust, and not the mass of half of Earth's population BEFORE they were turned into ash. The mass of Earth's 50% of population is around 237 billion kgs (or 522 billion lbs), considering that the average human weight is about 62 kgs (137 lbs). So, if you turn 237 billion kgs into 15 billion kgs of human ash, the Earth loses over 222 billion kgs (489 billion lbs), and even though this is not a high amount comparing to Earth's total mass, there is still some percentage of possibility, that changes to the planet's rotation and such would happen.

I was thinking on something here: Thanos goal was to solve the problem of lacking of resources for life support - to do that he wanted to reduce all life forms by half. One of the problems I see here is that we actually "ate" other forms of life. In a certain way, everything we eat comes from a form of life - meat, vegetables, fruits, grains. So, by reducing all life by half he would also reduce all the resources by half, right!? Noooot so bright, Thanos...

If you were directly in the middle of the earth, first you'd be burned to death, but as for the gravity, you would likely wobble around and only a small part of you would be in zero g's, your arms and legs and head are all too far away from that center to have 0.

Dude!!!!!! Why did you put a huge spoiler in the title of your video? Not everyone has seen the movie on the day of its release! Your video title popped up in my IDreporter notifications. I was avoiding all things Avengers related until I could see the movie in the cinema, and yet here was a notification from a channel I love revealing that Thanos turns to dust. WTF man!?? You can't say SPOILER FREE when the very title of the video (and its content) deal with what actually does happen in the movie. If Thanos were defeated any other way you would not have made the video in the first place. Therefore, with a heavy heart I am unsubscribing from this otherwise awesome science/geekiness channel. I don't want any spoilers in the future.

According to the Theory of Relativity, gravity isn't a force. It's just relative motion between two objects. Thus, when you throw a ball, it goes in a straight line. The reason its trajectory looks like it curves down is because the earth has enough mass to noticeably warp spacetime, and its trajectory is just a visualization of that. My question: How massive does something need to be so that it is flat, but it just warps spacetime in such an extreme way that it's ball-shaped from just a "space" perspective.
