Hey guys! What bad manners annoy you the most in public places?

@Joana Phillips I live in Sweden, in a smaller city, and here people often say excuse me if they bump into each other. Maybe not always, but must often if they notice they apologize. But when I've been to Stockholm for example, a lot of people just rush and bump into each other and no one says a thing. I'm not talking about everyone, of course some people say excuse me, but a lot of people doesn't care/notice. But when I was to London, even during the day when it was the most stressful outside and people rushing everywhere. Everytime someone accidentally bumped into me they stopped and said "excuse me, love, I'm so sorry", with their beautiful British accent :) People were so polite and nice there, in every occasion. At least from my experience.

@Narumon _BB Oh my, spot on...it has annoyed me so many times when taking the bus, people that are wearing (especially huge) backpacks and doesn't realize (or just don't care) that their enormous backpack hits other people on the bus when they turn around, or take it off. I've been bumped many times by peoples large backpacks...I always have a handbag. I never wear a bag on my back, and I make sure to not hit people with my handbag xD...but OK I understand if people need a backpack for some reason, but just be mindful of it and don't knock all the other passengers out with it -.-...

The one considering people taking off their shoes before entering someones home in Japan. It's not just Japan, I was surprised when I found out people often wear (outdoor) shoes inside in America. Here in Sweden we usually don't do that, I would consider it rude to stumble in to someones home with your dirty shoes on. If I want to wear shoes inside, I wear indoor shoes, that are just meant to be worn indoors and are only worn indoors so they don't get dirty from the outside. How nice is it if someone walk into your home with dirty shoes, maybe with mud or something else from the outside on them? It would be so dirty inside our apartment if we walked around with our shoes inside, especially during certain seasons when it's wet, snowy etc outside. But really at any season, it's not clean on the streets etc outside. How about walking on the carpets with your dirty outside shoes? Not very nice and disgusting :) How difficult is it to take off your shoes before entering your own or someone else's home? :) Shoes are worn outside and stays in the hallway when entering a home, if you want to have comfortable shoes on inside, have shoes that are for indoor wear ;)

If you see a guide, or our other service dog in public, realize that they are working. Do not, I repeat do not talk to you, try to feed, or touch these dogs without asking their handler first. Do not ask the person that the handlers with, those people are not supposed to speak for the handler. The handler may let you pet their dog, but this is not required. Some dogs lose concentration if you talk to them or put them, and sometimes we don’t have time to interact with the public, we may have a plane to catch or something like that so we are on a time crunch. Please do not be offended by us saying no if we have time, in most cases we will answer questions, but sometimes we just want to be able to conduct our business anonymously. I know I have had to ask people not to flirt with my dog in anyway, and they will argue with me saying that they were not touching her, talking to her, making kissing sounds, taking pictures of without my permission or anything else it’s basically the same thing. Don’t do it. Especially with taking pictures, it is like someone at taking pictures of you were a small child without your permission. That is an invasion of privacy.

Thank you for mentioning not bringing pets in the public. Our use a guide dog. My guy Doug Hass to be allowed anywhere that the general public is. The only places she is not allowed our food preparation areas in restaurants, and sterile areas of hospitals. Otherwise she is allowed everywhere. If your pet create problems for her or me, or anyone else using one of these animals, it can either cause my dog to possibly be injured, killed, or have me miss important things because of my dog having to be retired. This is very important. All service dogs should be restored I said respected.

I can no longer stand people who lack the simple ability to say thank you and people who are rude and condescending to any wait staff, anywhere. My sister tried that when I made the mistake of taking her and husband and two sons both under ten years old to dinner. Making demands for things not related to the menu, the kids acting like they were two kings. I stooped it right away. That waiter I tipped 125% because of thief rudeness. Lesson learned family sucks....... Dine with friends only!!!!!

Men should remove their hats when inside... a home, a theater, a restaurant, etc. People should excuse themselves and go outside if they MUST take a phone call. Otherwise, they should turn their phone or ringer off. Men should open doors and stand back to allow women (and children) to enter first.

People bringing them to grocery store and putting them into the shopping cart. They are dirty and it sitting they are exposing their bottom on the cart. That is where your food goes. Stores don't sanitize the carts. Your dog isn't a human so you can leave them home. They won't die if you leave them home. Service animals are great as long as people leave them alone so they can do their job. My kids asked if they could go pet a dog in the stores. I told them it No because it was being a helper to its owner.
