Julie I had to think long and hard before I decided to make this comment and no doubt you will remove it in the same way that you do not have your 'likes' or 'dislikes' visible to the public for reasons best known to yourself. I have loved to watch your work for so long and have recommended you to many and will continue to do so but there is something not right about showing a full panoramic shot of your studio and the thousands of dollars worth of stock lining the shelves and flloors while you continue to list a link here asking for sponsorship through paypal to help buy supplies. Clearly, Julie, you are a very privileged person and while I know you work as a nurse I have a feeling that this may have more to do with your good nature that any burning financial need. You may think I am writing this out of jealousy. Maybe I am. Who wouldn't be jealous of an artist with every single thing they needed at their hand in bulk including avalanches of blank canvases? Julie, I know you were asked by a subscriber to show the shot and you willingly obliged but coming from someone as other centred as you it felt oddly like a 'look at what I've got' photo opportunity, and, for many people, especially new subscribers, I think it was a misleading and harmful thing to do and really rubbing the noses of the thousands and thousands of people like me who have to forage our way through, on very limited resources. I recently saw one of your videos where you were thanking a person for sending you a set of Decoart Metallic paints in the post as a gift. Those paints are not cheap and how she wound up getting your address to send them to you without you saying to her 'No thank you, I have enough paint here to re-do the roof of the Cistine Chapel' really beats me. People treat so many of the 'artists' who make fluid acrylic videos successfully as demi-gods and are afraid to say anything because clearly when it happens everyone has a hissy fit. Well my aim is not to insult you but merely to ask was it really necessary to show the world the extent of your studio in such finite detail and now that you've done it, is there any justification at all in having that paypal link up there? Sell some of the hundreds / thousands of canvasses you have and pay for your own paint Julie. For those of you who are reading this and are ready to pounce on me in defence of Julie, please save your breath because Julie is more than capable of defending herself. That's me done.

So lovely! 😍 Honestly, I love almost everything you do, though I do admit to being more fond of anything you do that focuses mostly in the cool tones and brighter shades. I adore the paintings in bright primary colors, as long as you avoid pink. I really dislike the color pink and any painting that has it is immediately disqualified for my favorites, though I can appreciate the composition and effect of them in an abstract sense, lol. I'd love to see you do something entirely in mostly translucent or semi-translucent darker cool colors, blues, greens and purples, with a frost of silver and tinges of opalescent white. Sorta like a reverse glacier. I think I'd drool, if you could avoid getting any pink tones in it (hard to do with purple and opalescent white together, they like to read as pink, I know). That's just a suggestion though, you do you and keep producing beautiful art. Thanks for sharing!
